Struck by falling object

PILLAR WORK IN THE NO.2 ENTRY THE LAST LIFT IN THE RIGHT BLOCK WAS FINISHED AND THE MINER OPR. AND HELPER WAS BACKING THE MINER OUT. A PILLAR FALL OCCURED AND FELL BEYOND THE MINER WHITCH CAUG HT THE HELPER INBY THE CORNER OF THE SOLID PILLAR BEHIND THE MINER.

Fall onto or against objects

EE was operating the scoop. While exiting the scoop deck, his hand slipped, causing him to strike his right ribs against the park brake handle. His ribs kept hurting, went to doctor on 3/12/08.

EE was complaining of lower back pain at start of shift. By 6 PM he stated that he could not run shuttle car any longer due to pain and asked to be brought outside.

Bolter operator bolting up cap coal. When drill steel when through cap coal the coal dislodged fro the mine roof striking the operator on his head & shoulders.
