Employee was walking along side the feeder in mud and a slight incline and slipped and fell resulting in a pulled calve muscle.
Brooks Run Mining Co. was informed that retired employee has been diagnosed with Occupational Simple Pneumoconiosis on 10/1/14. He was employed by Brooks Run Mining from 4/6/98 to 7/10/14 as a Maintenance Foreman. His last day of work for Brooks Run was on 7/10/14.
While hanging curtain employee tripped and fell into rib hitting his left shoulder.
While moving the section the employee bent over to pull on the miner cable and felt a sharp pain in his lower back. He went to the doctor and found out that he had a pulled muscle.

Operator Received notice on 11-13-13 that employee participated in a medical exam and has a sufficient degree of pneumoconiosis. According to records employee has worked 38 years in various face and outby occupations underground and surface.
Employee was spot bolting 10 foot cable bolts. One piece of steel was in the hole when he was pushing a piece of steel up to connect it together he got his middle finger between the steel and the top cutting the end of his finger off.
EE was greasing head pins on 12-12 Joy miner when he dismounted he stepped on cable twisting ankle causing him to fall against rib striking his lower back.
