Started bolting 8 right, put steel against top and the rock fell down the steel and smashed hand. Note: He said he was only bruised and took a couple of days off. He did not go to a doctor.

Working on miner and was using a slate bar to pry. Slate bar slipped and cut thumb with end of bar.

Flash burns (electric)

Employee was helping coworker check out scoop that did not have power. When employee touched the battery bell it blew out on him and burned his right hand. Apparently the battery leads were pulled out of the bell and when he touched the bell the leads went positive to negative and produced an arc that burned him.

Spraying miner off, waiting on coal hauler. Heard CH coming, got off miner; left foot got hung on cable to junction box slipped and fell off miner.
