EE was walking away from the lowboy where he and another operator were unloading a D-6 dozer at Browns Branch. He slipped on the ice and twisted his right ankle. X-rays confirmed a fractured ankle. He works for the Route 3 environmental crew. He returned to work after a follow up with an orthopedic on Monday 1/15/11

EE WAS PLACING 8""X 9'3"" STEEL BEAMS FOR ALIGNMENT ON INBEDS AT A CRUSHER FACILITY. HE WAS IN A SQUATTING POSITION & WHILE MOVING ONE OF THE BEAMS, HE FELT A PULLING SENSATION IN HIS RIGHT KNEE.

MEMBER WAS TIGHTENING A BOLT ON THE SIDE OF A D-9 DOZER, LEANING OVER THE SIDE OF THE STABLEIZING BAR WHEN HE FELT PAIN IN THE UPPER RIGHT RIB AREA. HE WAS SCHEDULED OFF WORK UNTIL 8-13-01 AND THAT IS THE TIME THE LOST TIME BEGAN.
EMPLOYEE WAS USING A 24"" PIPE WRENCH TO TAKE APART 2"" PIPE AND SLIPPED ON WRENCH HANDLE, BRUISING RIBS.
