Employee cutting underneath of catwalk on CAT 777 haul truck with 90 degree air die grinder cut top of left hand. Cut resulted in five stitches.

EE was removing housing off a pump, EE hit flange on back swing causing hammer to deflect and make contact with left thumb, which fractured it.
