EE WAS PERFORMING A PRESHIFT INSPECTION ONF FRONT END LOADER. HE OPENED ENGINE COMPARTMENT DOOR TO CHECK ENGINE OIL. WHEN REACHING OVERHEAD TO PLACE DIPSTICK BACK INTO ENGINE, HE FELT A SHARP PAIN IN HIS BACK.
EMPLOYEE CLAIMED HE INJURED HIS BACK AND NECK WHILE OPERATING THE FRONT-END LOADER INTO THE STOCKPILE OF MATERIAL. HE STATED THE MACHINE JERKED AS HE WENT INTO THE STOCKPILE WITH THE LOADER BU CKET.
