Mechanic was working on a Bell articulated truck engine, removing misc exhaust hoses. He was leaning on a wrench and slipped, causing his forearm to come in contact with something that resulted in a laceration. The right forearm was affected.

Water pump motor had stoped running. He thought it needed to be primed before he started it back. The discharge line was full of water up a step grade. The water had sit it pump and gotten hot. He removed prime plug and hot water sprayed on his left hand burning it.

On 8-26-05 employee was told not to be around shaker on tail pulley when it was running. This was the reason he was starting work at 5:30 a.m.
