While digging with a CAT 352 Excavator, employee misjudged the edge of the roadway employee was traveling on due to water in the pit. The leading edge of road and the front of the tracks dropped approximately 6 feet, bringing the front of the machine down into the water. Employee claims PTSD from the incident and is currently out of work.

Fall from machine

Employee lost balance while descending CAT 988 loader. The bottom flexible step on the rear bumper swung too far under the machine causing right hand to slip off of the grip taped handle putting a twisting motion on left shoulder.
