An employee was loading haul trucks using the CAT 365B track hoe when the employee noticed the machine had caught fire. The employee exited the machine and called for assistance. The fire department extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and there were no injuries suffered.

Incident was discovered by local law enforcement on leased property that is not owned by the mine operator and did not occur on the permitted boundaries of the mine site.
