Absorption of radiations, caustics, toxic and noxious substances

Mechanic was removing tape off of a diesel fuel high pressure hose when the pressure fuel punctured his finger causing possible fuel injected into this finger.

Struck by falling object

Maintenance was being performed on a skid frame that will be installed on a new floating booster. The employee went to assist the others when the forklift got stuck while bring an I-Beam down. Then the forks released the I-Beam wasn't secure causing it strike him on his head.

Employee was walking down the stairs of the plant following some routine maintenance and missed a step. Employee caught himself on the handrail of the stairs and felt a sharp pain in his shoulder.

EMPLOYEE AND TWO OTHER EMPLOYEES WERE PULLING ON A DREDGE CABLE THAT WAS STUCK IN THE SAND. THE NEXT MORNING, EMPLOYEE REPORTED THAT HIS BACK WAS HURTING.

EMPLOYEE WAS INSIDE SHAKER DECK CHANGING SCREENSWHEN SOMETHING GOT IN HIS EYE. HE WAS WEARING SAFETY GLASSES, BUT HAVING TO LIE ON HIS BACK LOOKING UP, WITH HEAD TILTED UP, APPARENTLY LET SMALL PIECE OF RUST OR SAND GET IN AROUND EDGE OF SAFETY GLASSES.

EMPLOYEE WAS REMOVING A GRINDER FORM THE SIDE TOOL BOX OF THE SERVICE TRUCK, WHEN HE ACCIDENT-ALLY SHUT THE DOOR WITH HIS FINGER IN IT. EMPLOYER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF INJURY UNTIL THE EMPLOYEE 'S MEDICAL INSURANCE DENIED PAYMENT OF THE BILL.
