Employee was arc gouging on top of the dragline while lying on his side & some hot slag fell into his (R) ear. Incident was not reported to supervisor until 2 days later. Went to doctor on 4/3/06 & found that ear canal was infected, ear drum perforated. Employee was treated and released to return to work. Employee worked regular duty continuously.

EMPLOYEE HAD CUT A SMALL PIECE OF STEEL & WAS USING A STATIONARY GRINDER TO CLEAN THE EDGES. A SMALL CHIP FLEW INTO HIS EYE & BECAME EMBEDDED. EE HAD ON SAFETY GLASSES & HAD THE SHIELD ON THE GRINDER DOWN. EE SHOULD HAVE WORK GOGGLES OVER HIS GLASSES. GOGGLES WERE AVAILABLE AT THE GRINDER.
EE was working on a submersible pump pontoon in the pit. He stated that when he stepped over the pump hose, he either tripped on the hose or caught his foot toe in the expanded metal deck walkway causing him to fall on his knee. EE was wearing shorts.
A HOIST DRUM BEARING OVERHEATED AND BLEW APART IGNITING GREASE THAT IS USED TO LUBRICATE THE BEARINGS & HOIST GEARING MACHINE WAS IN OPERATION. 2-150 LB DRY CHEMICAL & 12-20 LB DRY CHEMICAL EXT. WERE USED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE. FIRE DEPT. WAS CALLED BUT NOT NEEDED. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE BEARING THAT FAILED. FIRE WAS PUT OUT IN 35-40 MINUTES.
EMPLOYEE WAS USING A WALK BEHIND ELECTRIC FOKLIFT TO MOVE AN ELECTRIC MOTOR FROM THE ELECTRICAL PART STORAGE BUILDING. AS HE WAS BACKING UP THE FORKLIFT, HE WAS WATCHING A COMPRESSOR ON THE FL OOR SO THAT HE WOULDN'T HIT IT. WITH HIS ATTENTION ON THE COMPRESSOR, EMPLOYEE PROCEEDED TO SLOWLY BACK UP THE FORKLIFT AND CAUGHT HIS FOOT BETWEEN THE FORKLIFT AND A PALLET.
EE WAS STRUCK BY A ROCK FROM THE HIGHWALL WHILE INSTALLING A PUMP AND PUMP LINE INTO THE WHITE CHURCH PIT AT KINDILL 2. THE INJURIES THAT RESULTED WERE SEVERAL CRUSHED VERTEBRAE, 3 FRACTURED R IBS, FRACTURED SCAPULA, AND DEEP LACERATION TO THE BACK OF HEAD.
A SMALL FIRE WAS DISCOVERED AT THE BASE OF THE ""C"" PILE CLEAN COAL. THE FIRE WAS ABOUT 2'HIGH BY 5'WIDE, 8'LONG. THIS COAL PILE WAS WARM. WE WAITED UNTIL DAY SHIFT MANAGEMENT ARRIVED AT 6 AM A ND A TRACTOR WAS USED TO SEPARATE THE WARM COAL. THE COAL SELF-EXTINGUISHED ONCE PUSHED BY THE TRACTOR. THE COAL WAS THEN BLENDED WITH OTHER COAL AND SHIPPED OUT BY RAIL. NO EQUIPMENT/PEOPLE

EE WAS ASSISTING IN THE REPAIR OF A DRAGLINE HOIST GEARING. THE HOIST PINION AND SHAFT HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE GEAR CASE IN ORDER TO PUT IN A GREASE SEAL THAT HAD BEEN LEFT OFF. THE SHAFT AN D PINION WERE LIFTED FROM THE CASE AND SET DOWN UON THE TOP OF THE PEDESTAL BASE WHILE THE GREASE SEAL WAS INSTALLED. EE WERE WORKING ON TOP OF THE HOIST GEARING.
AN UNKNOWN 11"" DIA. BORE HOLE WAS MINED OVER IN THE WEST DIVOT PIT. THE BORE HOLE WAS NOT LOCATED ON ANY MAPS, WAS FILLED WITH WATER, AND WAS LIBERATINE METHANE GAS. THE GAS WAS IGNITED BY THR OWING A RAG THAT WAS LIT ON IT. A SMALL FLAME (FOOT HIGH) VERY WEAK BURNED ON TOP OF THE HOLE. WIND WOULD BLOW IT OUT. THE HOLE WAS MARKED AND LATER PLUGGED WITH CONCRETE. EE'S NOTIFIED OF LO
THE DOCTOR DETERMINED THAT A DIME-SIZED BURN ON THE EMPLOYEE'S ELBOW BECAME INFECTED. EE STATED HE GOT THE BURN WHILE AIR-LANCING ON A DRAGLINE BUCKET IN THE SHOP. A PIECE OF SLAG POPPED OVER HIS PROTECTIVE LEATHER SLEEVE. HE DIDN'T SEEK FIRST AID TREATMENT. HE STARTED MISSING TIME ON 9-29-03. DYE IN THE LEATHER MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED. ALSO, HE SHOULD HAVE SOUGHT FIRST AID PREVENTION
EMPLOYEE WAS STARTING HAUL TRUCKS. AS HE WAS DISMOUNTING, HIS RIGHT HAND SLIPPED A LITTLE & CAUSED MOST OF HIS WEIGHT TO SHIFT TO HIS LEFT ARM. HE STATED THAT THIS ARM WAS SORE & THIS ACCIDENT CAUSED IT TO HURT MORE. EMPLOYEE DID NOT FALL.
EE WAS ASSISTING IN CHANGING TEETH ON DRAGLINE BUCKET. EE WAS HITTING ONE OF THE TEETH WITH A 12 LB SLEDGE HAMMER TO LOOSEN IT FROM THE BASE. A SLIVER OF METAL ABOUT 1 INCH LONG BROKE FROM T HE TOOTH AND STRUCK EE.
TRESPASSER WAS RIDING A DIRT BIKE ON A COUNTY ROAD UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN A RECLAIMATION AREA. HE HIT HOLE AND LOST CONTROL OF HIS BIKE. HE FLAGGED EMPLOYEES DRIVING BY WHO CALLED FOR AN AMBULA NCE WHO CALLED FOR LIFEFLIGHT BECAUSE OF A POSSIBLE HEAD INJURY. HE HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY WARNED NOT TO RIDE ACROSS MINE PROPERTY. HE WOULD RIDE AROUND GATES AND OVER BERMS ON CLOSED ROADS.
EMPLOYEE WAS GRADING THE DRAGLINE BENCH. WHILE DOING THIS, THE BLADE HIT THE TOP OF A LARGE ROCK THAT WAS PARTIALLY BURIED CAUSING THE EMPLOYEE TO BE JARRED. HE STATED HE WAS WEARING A SEAT BE LT. OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, HIS BACK BECAME STIFF AND SORE. HE WORKED 7/26 AND 7/28 - WENT TO DR ON 7/28 AND THEN WAS OFF.
EE PARKED A FORD F250 PICKUP IN ORDER TO GET TOOLS OUT OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. HE LEFT THE TRUCK RUNNING. A SHORT TIME LATER HE NOTICED THE TRUCK ROLLING BACKWARDS & RAN AFTER IT TO STOP IT. WHEN HE JUMPED IN, HE HIT HIS BACK ON THE BACK OF CAB AT THE DOOR OPENING. HE DROVE THE TRUCK TO THE SHOP & WENT TO HIS FAMILY DOCTOR AFTER THE SHIFT. MAINTENANCE FOUND A BROKEN CLIP THAT HOLDS THE
EE WAS ASSISTING IN CHANGING BUCKET TEETH ON A 1370 DRAGLINE. THE SPOOLS & WEDGES HAD BEEN KNOCKED OUT OF THE TOOTH BASE & EE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER TO KNOCK THE TOOTH POINT OFF. WHILE STRI KING THE TOOTH, A 3/4"" SLIVER OF METAL CAME OFF THE TOOTH EDGE & STRUCK EE. APPEARED THAT THE EDGE OF THE TOOTH AND NOT THE FLAT PART WAS STRUCK.
SERVICING DRILL WHEN A PIECE OF METAL GOT IN HIS LEFT EYE. DOCTORS REMOVED METAL & TREATED WITH ANTIBIOTICS.
EE WAS WASHING OUT RADIATOR OF PICK-UP AT TRUCK WASH. HE TURNED AND HIS KNEE MADE A POPPING SOUND AND HE FELT A SHARP PAIN. A MRI WAS TAKEN ON MAY 5TH, NO CERT. INJURY. DIAGNOSED AS A SPRAINE D LIGAMENT.
EE WAS USING A SKID MOUNTED PORTAJOHN LOCATED ONTHE DRILL BENCH. ANOTHER EE UNAWARE THAT SOMEONEWAS USING THE PORTAJOHN HOOKED A SMALL TRACTOR TO THE PULL CABLE TO MOVE IT OUT OF THE WAY OF A SHOT. WHEN THE PORTAJOHN WAS MOVED, IT CAUSED THE EE TO BE THROWN AGAINST THE SIDE OF THE PORTAJOHN & SHE LANDED ON THE FLOOR. EE DID NOT REPORT
EE WAS WORKING ON THE HOOD LATCH OF A LUBE TRUCKAT ONE POINT EE STATED HE TURNED AND FELT A CATCH IN HIS KNEE. EE HAD CONTINUED TO WORK, BUT BECAUSE OF RECURRING CATCHING IN THE KNEE, WENT TO SEE A DR. IN MAY. AN MRI TAKEN ON MAY 19 SHOWED A SLIGHT CARTILEDGE TEAR. EE CONTINUED TO WORK UNTIL MAY 28,2003 WHEN HE WENT IN FOR SURGERY. ALSO PREVIOUS KNEE SURGERY.
EE, PRIOR TO STARTING HIS WORKSHIFT, WENT TO THE PIT TO DUMP A LOAD OF TRASH. HE BACKED HIS PERSONAL TRUCK UP TO THE EDGE OF THE DRAGLINE BENCH CLOSE TO WHERE TRACTORS WERE STRIPPING. HE GOT INTO THE BACK OF HIS TRUCK AND WHEN HE THREW AN OLD ANTENNAE TOWER OUT, HE LOST HIS BALANCE AND FELL ABOUT 15-20'TO THE ROCKS BELOW. THE TAIL GATE OF THE PICK UP WAS DOWN & HANGING OVER VOID.
EE PICKED UP ON A CORNER OF A 1 1/2 INCH THICK, 3' X 5', PIECE OF STEEL PLATE TO REMOVE A STRAP. THE PLATE WAS ON A TABLE. WHEN HE LIFTED, HE FELT PAIN IN HIS LOW BACK. EE SEES A CHIROPRACTOR ON A REGULAR BASIS BECAUSE OF LOW BACK PROBLEMS. BACK GOES OUT OF ALIGNMENT. WENT TO CHIROPRACTOR ON 2-15 AND ON 2-18.
EE WAS LOADING 2 PIECES OF METAL STRAP ONTO THE BACK OF THE WELD TRUCK. THE STRAP WAS FLEXING QUITE A BIT, AND IN ORDER TO SECURE IT, THE EE ROLLED A PIECE OF 3 INCH CHANNEL IRON ONTO THE STRA P. HE WAS STANDING ON ROCKS TO ST AY OUT OF SOME WATER THAT WAS POOLED AT BASE OF TUB DUE TO HEAVY RAIN. EE SLIPPED OFF ON OF THE ROCKS. EE HAD ON RUBBER BOOTS.
EE WAS STANDING ON TOP OF THE TUB OF A 1370 DRGLINE WAITING WHILE A HOIST WAS BEING LOWERED DOWN IN ORDER TO REMOVE STEEL THAT HAD BEEN CUT OFF THE TUB. AS THE HOIST WAS BEING LOWERED INTO THE COMPARTMENT WHERE EE WAS STANDING, THE CABLES CAME UNDONE FROM THE DRUM AND THE CRANE HOOK AND CABLES FELL ABOUT 4-6 FT AND HIT EE ON THE FOREARM.
EMPLOYEE WAS PUTTING A PIVOT SHAFT SEAL IN WITH A HAMMER & A PIECE OF METAL WENT INTO HIS RIGHT HAND.
EE STATED THAT WHILE WORKING ON THE DRAGLINE DURING A REPAIR JOB ALL THE CLIMBING BENDING KNEELING CAUSED HIM KNEE PAIN. EE WORKED UNTIL 7-10-02 WHEN IT THAT TIME HE STARTED LOSING TIME BECAUS E OF CONTINUING KNEE PAIN. EE DID NOT SLIP, FALLTWIST OR REPORT ANYTHING UNSUAL. EE IS PRESENTLY TAKING STENGTHENING PHYSICAL THERAPY AND IS OFF.
EE WAS USING AN IMPACT WRENCH WHILE MOUNTING A MOTOR ON A PUMP. HE WAS USING THE IMPACT IN AN OVERHEAD POSITION. A PIECE OF DIRT OR RUST BECAME EMBEDDED IN EYE. EE HAD ON SAFETY GLASSES.
EE WAS REMOVING THE INSPECTION DOOR ON A CMI COAL DRYER IN PREP PLANT TO WASH OUT THE CHUTE UNDER THE DRYER. EE WAS USING A PRY BAR TO REMOVE THE DOOR WHICH WAS STUCK. WHEN THE DOOR CAME LOOSE , EE CAUGHT FINGER BETWEEN THE BAR & THE CHUTE WWORK BEHIND THE DRYER.
EE WAS DISMOUNTING FROM A TRACTOR AFTER ADJUSTING A DOOR LATCH. AS EE STEPPED FROM THE PUSH ARM TO THE GROUND, HE STEPPED ONTO A ROCK, ROLLING HIS ANKLE. EE DID NOT SLIP OR FALL AND WAS DISMOU NTING PROPERLY. EE CAME TO WORK ON 5/01, THEN WENT TO A DOCTOR.
EMPLOYEES WERE ROLLING DRAG CHAINS ON THE BUCKET OF A 1370 DRAGLINE. THEY WERE HOOKING UP THE DRAG CHAIN CLEVIS AND WHILE LIFTING THE CLEVIS PIN INTO POSITION, EE HURT HIS BACK. THE PIN WAS 6"" IN DIA BY 18"" LONG AND WEIGHS ABOUT 150 LBS. TWO EE'S LIFTED THE PIN FROM THE GROUND TO THE SHOULDER LEVEL. EE'S SHOULD HAVE USED AVAILABLE BOOM TRUCK. 1ST DAY MISSED 4-3-02.
EE WAS ASSISTING IN CHANGING TOOTH TIPS ON DRAG-LINE BUCKET. EE WAS SWINGING A 12 LB. SLEDGE HAMMER DRIVING THE PINS OUT OF THE TIP AND STATED HE FELT SOMETHING PULL IN HIS BACK AND HIP AREA. GROUND WAS LEVEL AND LIGHT GOOD. A HEAVIERSLEDGE HAMMER IS NORMALLY USED TO DRIVE THE PINS(LESS BOUNCE AND LESS FORCE). EE STARTED TO MISSWORK ON 2-20-02, SOUGHT MEDICAL AID.
EE LEFT THE CAB OF THE DRAGLINE TO START THE M6 SETS. AS HE WAS GOING PAST THE DC ELECT. ROOM, HE TRIPPED OVER THE STEPS LEADING TO THIS ROOM AND FELL TO THE FLOOR. EE HAD ON SUNGLASSES WHILE IN THE CAB AND DID FNOT REMOVE THEM BEFORE GOINGBACK INTO THE HOUSE OF THE DRAGLINE. THE HOUSE AREA IS DARKER THAN THE CAB. EE WAS ALSO IN A HURRY.
EE WAS CHECKING CMI COAL DRYERS. THE FIRST TWO HE CHECKED WERE PLUGGED WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW THEM TO RUN. TO UNPLUG THEM, WATER IS RUN INTO THEMTO UNPLUG AND LOOSEN THE COAL. EE WENT TO THE NE XT LEVEL AND WHEN HE STARTED #23 CMI IT STARTED TO SQUEAL. EE REACHED UP UNDER THE COVER OVER THE BELT DRIVE PULLEY, WHEN HE TOUCHED THE MOVING BELT IT PULLED HIS GLOVED HAND INTO THE PULLEY.
EMPLOYEE WAS REPLACING BOTTOM ROLLER ON TRACTOR.A ROCK THAT WAS CAUGHT BTWN PUSH ARM & FRAME FELL & HIT EMPLOYEE ON BACK OF HEAD. HIS HEAD STRUCK CONCRETE FLOOR PUSHING HIS HARD HAT INTO HIS F OREHEAD CUTTING HIM. ROCK WAS 18-24"" DIAM. THE TRACTOR WAS @ MMI REPAIR SHOP & HAD JUST BEEN MOVED TO CONCRETE APRON AROUND SHOP. EMPLOYEE SAID HE NORMALLY CHECKS FOR ROCKS ON THE FRAMES.

THE DOOR STARTED TO MAKE NOISE AS IT NEARED THE OPEN POSITION AND EMPLOYEE FEARED IT MIGHT NOT S TOP AT THE LIMIT SETTING. EE RAN TO GET TO THE STOP BUTTON AND TRIPPED ON THE TWO STEPS LEADING TO THE AREA OF THE DRAGLINE WHERE THE STOP BUTTON IS LOCATED. EE FELL TO THE FLOOR.
EE WAS DISMOUNTING AN ENDLOADER. WHEN HE STEPPEDONTO THE REAR DISMOUNT PLATFORM HIS FOOT SLIPPEDOFF THE EDGE. THIS PLATFORM IS OVER THE BATTERY BOX AND IS MADE OF NONSLIP MATERIAL. WE HAVE ADD ED A LIP TO THE EDGE TO PREVENT POSSIBLE FOOT SLIPPAGE. EE WENT TO DOCTOR ON 12/13/01 AND STARTED MISSING WORK.
EE WAS DOING ROUTINE WORK DURING THE SHIFT, WHICH INCLUDES WALKING CLIMBING STAIRS, BENDING ETC. SORENESS COND PAIN DEVELOPED INT HE BACK OF KNEE. EE STATED THAT HE DID NOT SLIP FELL TWIST OR DO ANYTHING THAT HE KNEW OF THAT CAUSED A PROBLEM ON MRI ON 11-14-01 INDICATED A PIECE OF LOOSE CARTILEDGE.
EE WAS WALKING DOWN THE 3 STEPS ENTERING THE BUCKET REPAIR BUILDING. WHEN HE STEPPED FROM THE BOTTOM STEP TO THE GROUND, HE STEPPED ON A PIECE OF METAL OR A ROCK (HE WASN'T SUR) AND OVERTURNED HIS ANKLE. HANDRAIL HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE 3 STEPS AS AN AID FOR GOING UP OR DOWN.
EE WAS WELDING ON A DRAGLINE BUCKET IN THE SHOP USING A HARD COAT WIRE. HE CLOSED HIS HOOD TO CONTINUE WELDING AND A PIECE OF SLAG GOT INTO HIS EYE UNDER HIS EYELID. EE WAS WEARING SAFETY GLAS SES AND PARTICLE NOT EMBEDDED, RX MEDICATION GIVEN.
EMPLOYEE WAS LEVELING SPOIL MATERIAL. AFTER HE GOT HOME, HE STATED HIS TAILBONE STARTED HURTING.HE CAME TO WORK ON 8-13-01 BUT LEFT MIDWAY THROUGH THE SHIFT BECAUSE HIS TAILBONE BOTHERED HIM, HE SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION.
SOMETIME BETWEEN 11:10 PM AND 11:30 PM, THE LEFT REAR TIRE ON A SCRAPER CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE SCRAPER HAD BEEN USED THE PREVIOUS SHIFT AND PARKED AT 10:45 PM WITH A FLAT TIRE. THE FIRE WAS PUT O UT IN 30 MIN, BUT RE-IGNITED PERIODICALLY UNTIL WATER TRUCKS COOLED THE TIRE DOWN AND GUEL WAS REMOVED PREVENTING DRIPPING FROM A BURNED LINE.
EE WAS DRIVING A PICKUP DOWN A MUDDY INCLINE. THE TRUCK HIT A RUT, CAUSING THE STEERING WHEEL TO SPIN, JERKING HER ARM & SHOULDER. EE WORKED UNTIL 7-9-01 WHEN BECAUSE OF CONTINUING PAIN REPORT ED OFF. HER FAMILY DR. IS SENDING HER TO AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON. HE FEELS LIKE THERE MAY BE SOME TENDON DAMAGE IN THE DELTOID REGION. EE WAS OFF ON REGULAR VACATION FROM 6-25 THRU 7-8.
EE WAS OPERATING A 3 TON COM-A-LONG. ONE END WAS ATTACHED TO A 3/8"" CHAIN THAT WAS SECURED TO A BOOM LACING PIPE ON A 1370 DRAGLINE. THE OTHER END WENT TO THE SOCKET END OF AN INTERMEDIATE SUS PENSION CABLE THAT WAS BEING PULLED INTO POSITION TO SECURE TO THE BOLT STRUCTURE. ANOTHER 3-TONCOM-A-LONG WAS BEING USED IN TANDEM TO PULL IN CBLE. CHAIN BROKE, CHAIN/COM-A-LONG HIT IN FACE.
EE WAS DISMOUNTED FROM TRACTOR ON DRILL BENCH. HE STEPPED ON A ROCK AND ROLLED HIS FOOT. EE SAIDHE WAS USING 3-POINT CONTACT & DID NOT FALL. HE WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. X-RAYS WERE NEGATIVE & HE WAS TOLD HE COULD GO BACK TO WORK. ON 3/16/01 HEREPORTED OFF WORK DUE TO INFECTION IN THE ANKLE.
AT APPROX 0300, A DRAGLINE OPERATOR SUFFERED A FATAL HEART ATTACK WHILE ON THE JOB. AT THE TIME OF THE HEART ATTACK, THE EE WAS ON THE GROUND NEAR THE DRAGLINE AS THEY WERE PREPARING TO MOVE T HE MACHINE TO LEVEL THE BENCH AREA. EE WAS JUMP STARTING A 988 LOADER (FROM MECHANIC'S TRUCK). HE HOOKED THE CABLES TO THE LOADER BATTERY AND WENT TO THE CAB TO START THE LOADER. AFTER THE LOADER STARTED AND HE WENT TO UNHOOK TH E CABLES, HE NOTICED A FIRE ON TOP OF THE BATTERY CAP. WHEN HE WENT TO UNHOOK THE CABLE, ONE OF THE CAPS BLEW OFF, BLOWING ACID AND DIRT INTO HIS EYES. HOSPITAL FLUSHED EYES, NO APPARENT DAMA

EMPLOYEE WAS PUSHING DOWN ON A PRYBAR WHILE HELPING CHANGE A DRAG HITCH. THE BAR SLIPPED AND EMPLOYEE FELT PAIN IN HIS ABDOMEN. IT WAS LATER DIAGNOSED AS A HERNIA AND EMPLOYEE STARTED MISSING WORK ON 11/07/00. EMPLOYEE HAS HAD SURGERY TO REPAIR THE HERNIA.
EMPLOYEE WAS GOING DOWN THE STAIRWAY INTO THE 1370 DRAGLINE AC ROOM. YOU FACE THIS STAIRWAY WHEN DESCENDING. HE MISSED THE BOTTOM STEP, AND TO KEEP FROM FALLING, HE GRABBED THE HANDRAIL VERY HARD; MOST OF HIS WEIGHT WAS ABSORBED BY THAT HAND. HE DID NOT FALL. AREA IS DRY AND LIGHTED.
EE WAS HAULING GOB TO THE GOB PIT IN AN END DUMP. WHEN HE BACKED UP TO DUMP THE GOV, THE TRUCK GOT HUNG UP IN A SOFT SPOT. WHEN EE DISMOUNTED THE TRUCK, AS HE STEPPED TO THE GROUND FROM THE TR UCK, HE STEPPED ONTO A ROCK.

EMPLOYEE WAS WEARIN G SAFETY GLASSES. HE TRIED TO WASH PARTICLE OUT BUT COULDN'T. SIDE SHIELDS HAVE BEEN ORDERED FOR HIS GLASSES. GOGGLES COULD HAVE BEEN WORN IN WINDY CONDITIONS.
EE WAS CHECKING ENGINE OIL ON A 657 SCRAPER. AS HE PULLED OUT THE DIPSTICK WHILE SQUATTED DOWN HE LOST HIS BALANCE AND REACHED OUT WITH HIS HAND TO BREAK HIS FALL. HE JAMMED HIS HAND ON THE PL ATFORM.
