An operator sustained a hernia while putting a dredge pump together with a coworker in the garage. The incident occurred March 13 and was not reported until April 16. The injured states ee suffered the strain while moving the front cover of the pump into placed to be secured.

A repairman strained his lower back while working on the VSI crusher. The injured was removing stationary anvils (60 lbs.) from the VSI crusher for replacement with new ones. The miner's lower back was strained during the removal of and handling of the worn anvils.
