EE was stepping off the work boat onto the dredge when EE's foot slipped through the handrail of the work boat, pinning EE's leg up to the knee. EE didn't go to the clinic until 2/18/2025, they said EE has an infection in the lower part of the leg

Fall from machine

Customer Truck Driver, Not a Miner or Contractor: A customer truck driver jumped from the top of the trailer to the ground in an attempt to confront an employee of the mine that was telling customer to get down off the top of the trailer. The driver admittedly knew it was not allowed to climb on the trailer but did so anyway.

The employee was struck on the shin by a tail pulley that slipped out of another employees hand.

Employee was carrying a 4'x4'x10' pontoon with a forklift when the bottom corner of the pontoon contacted the ground causing the pontoon to rotate on the forks contacting the driver side door. Employee put hand up attempting to block the pontoon causing a laceration to left hand.

Fall from ladders

Employee working from step ladder fell approximately 3.5 feet to the ground, landing on his right leg hurting his ankle. 911 was contacted, ambulance responded, and transported to local hospital. Doctors at hospital evaluated his injury and determined he had a broken ankle. Employee is currently off duty until doctor's release him to return his job.

Employee was working from Ladder removing a Hydraulic hose from Top-Off Machine control block when he lost his balance or footing on ladder step and fell 3 feet to a concrete slab below his work area. Employee tried to catch himself and block his impact with the concrete slab injuring his left arm and wrist.

EMPLOYEE WAS GOING TO OUTSIDE SCALE PLATFORM TO SPEAK WITH A TRUCK ON SCALES WHEN SHE TRIPPED AND STRUCK SHOULDER ON DOOR FRAME. ORIGINALLY CLASSIFIED AS DOCTOR FIRST AID. MRI RESULTS RECEIVED 12-17-04 WERE POSITIVE FOR ROTATOR CUFF TEAR. RECLASSIFIED AS DR TREATABLE.

WHILE REMOVING PIECE OF METAL FROM PILE OF METAL, PIECE FLIPPED OVER WRONG AND PINCHED LEFT MIDDLE FINGER BETWEEN 2 PIECES OF METAL. EE WAS WEARING HEAVY WELDING GLOVES WHICH PREVENTED MORE SE RIOUS INJURY TO FINGER. 5 STITCHES TO CLOSE WOUND.
