While removing an alternator along side another employee, the other mechanic was pulling the detached alternator through the top of the machine, while injured was pushing through the bottom. It slipped out of the other mechanic's hand and fell down smashing injured employee's right middle finger between the alternator and the engine mount bolt.

The employee was assisting another employee set up the fast pack. They lowered the jack leg while turning and employees right hand was crushed between the body of the jack leg and the jack leg mounting plate causing the injury.

Miner was helping change screen on Crusher. He was pulling screen into position when he felt a slight muscle pull. He continued to work through his shift on 03/14/2012. Upon waking on 03/15/2012 he had considerable low back pain. At that time he called work to report injury. After treatment in ER he was released to light duty immediately.
