Fall from machine

The injured employee (IE) was operating a CAT D8T dozer to push material to the loader operator. As the IE was exiting the D8T dozer, the IE's heel was caught on the track causing IE to fall to the ground level. The IE was evaluated at the local ER and determined to have a fracture to IE's L3 disc. No further treatment was necessary.

Employee was cutting a piece of rubber with a utility knife. The knife slipped and he cut his finger, requiring 3 stitches.
