On 03/06/2023 employee was retrieving a tear plate when they felt a strain to right shoulder. On 03/27/2023 employee notified management of the incident and requested medical evaluation, employee was placed on modified duty and prescribed work restrictions for a right shoulder strain.

Struck against a moving object

Employee was attempting to back up a 6,000 gallon articulating water truck, when the right rear tire went up a 2.5% grade causing the truck and cab to tip over.

Employee was changing cutting bits on a piece of equipment. He was using an 8 lb hammer to release the retaining pin. A metal fragment chipped off the pin and struck his low abdomen. He was taken to a clinic and the fragment was partially removed. The remaining portion was left in place due to doctor's recommendation.

Employee was working to fuel equipment. As the employee climbed down off a D10 dozer he stepped to the ground. Upon releasing from the ladder he felt low back pain. The employee was diagnosed with a muscle strain at a local clinic. The employee was released to modified duty.
